The Drop Point blade is a great utility shape and is the perfect all-around blade profile for most folks. It is good at almost everything and performs at “Optimum” as opposed to “Maximum” in any area or task. Like all our blades and truly a departure from the typical multi-tool industry, our blades are made from only the world’s finest steels. We are not a tool company making knives but rather a knife company making tools. There has been no compromise made to incorporate these world-class materials like CPM S35VN and Magnacut Steels.

Hollow ground blade.
I tend to prefer flat ground or convex ground blades; however, given the blade thickness, I think they chose a good grind.
